Just a quick question, put 50.00 worth of petrol in car and mileage remaining was 132 miles, now its down to about a quarter tank it says 230 miles to go, either its wrong or its one hell of a tank?

    Anyone had this before?

I believe the fuel gauge is reading correct but cant believe the Trip computer? It is on setting 2? Will that make a difference to remaing fuel mileage?

    Many Thanks

or it could be that your driving style has caused an increase in MPG and subsequently an increase in the tank range?

Mine (granted not VAG, but the a4/golf were the same) always increases from the point of filling up to where I need to refill on empty, sometimes as much as 150 miles.
