    Hi

This question is for one of my computer illerate buddies.

    He has a 55 plate A4 B7 2.0 Tdi 140 S-Line with 117,000 mile FSH.

It has an occasional very slight hesitation/misfire/judder, it has done this for the past couple of years but is becoming more frequent.

It happens when coasting along in traffic with a steady throttle pressure, ie just on. Engine revs 1800 - 2400, the moment he puts his foot down the cars away with no hesistation.

He's been told to ignor it until he gets a warnimg light as it will be easy to find the fault with vagcom.

He has tried a can of erg cleaner, load of crap from the exhaust but no improvemnt.

    Any suggestions kindly welcom.

    Ian

    Quite right, missed that

We have had a few with split boost hoses and boost leaks. I spend a lot of time using my VAG pressure testing kit these days and I find a lot of boost leaks.
