vw gamma radio to mk2 golf

Hi, would anyone know how to convert a gamma radio to fit a mk2 golf? just interested to get any information before buying. thanks iain

The Gamma unit require a ignition feed to work correctly. On a lot of Mk2 Golf's this isn't available at the radio wiring. You can pick up an ignition feed at the fuse box, and I would reccomend doing this to avoid flat battery problems.

It should physically fit without to much trouble - it's a standard din size. You might want a slim spacer to prevent it from rattling in the somewhat frail Mk2 fitting.
