Roof folding problems

Hi Guys

Went to put my roof down tonight (As it was nice waether for a change) when I did, the sun roof went back, windows went down and it stopped. It gave the message....system failure - workshops. The boot will now not open, the light for the roof moving down is flashing and I had to disconnect & re-connect the battery to get the windows to go up. I strongly susspect that this might have something to do with the water getting into the boot and interfeering with the pump in there. Any thoughts please?


If it is the pump, does anyone have an idea how much is it to get it changed.

Get it scanned with VCDS (diagnostic software) and see where the fault lies.

What year is the car and mileage?

Car is an 08 tdi, 84K miles
