    Does the red letters mean anything? bhp? just wondering.. TDI? TDI

    it does, search the posts, there is a few about them.

    I realised that my reply was not that helpful.

    Silver TDI 90 BHP
    Silver TD, Red I 100BHP
    Silver T, Red DI 115 BHP (Classed as GT TDI in tax book but no GT Badge on boot)
    RED TDI 130 BHP (Classed as GT TDI in tax book but no GT Badge on boot)
    SILVER GT RED TDI 150 BHP (Classed as GT TDI in tax book AND GT ON BOOT)

    I agree with prolfe, however there are many other threads and you should do a search as others WILL state that the letters can easily be removed and added to mis represent. and that the only accurate way to check the engine power is (i believe) the three letters of the engine code e.g. ABZ
