    Cool Audi A8 Analogue to Digital TV Tuner upgrade – 24-06-2012,11:11 AM
    Hi All, 1st post so be gentle with me

    I own a 2005 A8 W12 which currently has an Analogue TV tuner installed and is now as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike!!


    After doing some trawling through the net, I have managed to procure a Hybrid DVB-T Tuner (4F0 919 142) & a remote control for same (4F0 035 207) from Germany.

    Do I take that the existing ariel in my car will be up to the job for this tuner or do I need anything additional?

    Also will it need to be coded with VCDS? (which I dont have at present)

    I have the DVB-T reciever and the Remote. It would appear that I also require a harness to go between the new box and the analogue one. Does anyone have a part number for the harness? I think Kufatec sells one (35659) but just wondering if i can get cheaper than £65 + p&p.
