The remote central locking on my 2002 Golf is not working properly. When pressing the remote once the driver's door unlocks OK but when pressing again nothing happens, the remaining doors and boot should unlock.
If I use the key to unlock the car it works OK, ie. the first turn of the key unlocks driver's door second turn unlocks the rest. I have tried the spare key but it is the same. I had a new battery fitted to the car recently and checked that they put a slave on whilst changing it to keep radio codes etc.
I have heard there is a way of reprogramming the remote central locking, does anyone know how it is done?
    Thanks, Sid
