    hi

yesterday my golf gt tdi 150 oil light has come on, orange light indicating low oil, car has always been serviced on time and never burns/uses any oil. topped little bit up anyway even though it was not low but has not gone off

i have searched on here and found it could be sensor in the sump, any other ideas, how many sensor control the oil level light?

    thanks

    Hi.
If the oil light is on and staying on it should show up on a scan. Sensors
don't last for ever and do cause problems. I have had to have a few changed
on my car. To be sure, get her plugged in and in the mean time, keep an eye
    on the oil level.
    Good luck.
