gearbox compability from audi 80 to audi 100

hi, I got a audi 80 1.8 -90 that have a bad manual gearbox so I bought a manual gearbox of my friend, but it turned out to be from a audi 100 2.0 -90. When I was about to change it I saw that the inner driving joint wasn´t the same. Can I take the inner driving joint from the audi 100 so it will fit? Is there something more that isn´t the same?

was the 100 5 cylinder? Not sure if there is an issue with starter motor, going from 4 cyl type to 5 cyl type?
I think the drive shaft flanges will swap over ok.

It´s a 4 cyl type because the gearbox came from a audi 100 2.0.

I was concerned that the 100 came with a 5 cyl 1994 cc engine in 1990, The 4 cyl 1984cc engine arrived in 1992 as far as I can tell. If your spare gearbox is from a 4 cyl you should have no problems?
