    Hey all,
changed my wifes Passat wheel / tyre combo from the stock 15" x 195 I think iirc to Audi 16" x 205 and they look ok....if anything the offset is slightly off as the wheels sit too much inside the wheelwell and its bugging me.

The question? - I have a set of alloys in more or less mint condition from my A6 and they are 225 x 50 x 17.
The bolt pattern and bore size are correct, but when fitted the tyres are a little too wide and the wheel ( with offset of ET47 ) sits too far into the wheel well.......looks like rubbing issues against the shocks / spring set up.

I'm convinced they can fit, possibly with some hubcentric wheel spacers ( I'm think maybe 15mm )

Anyone know if this will work or not?

I'm going to give it a go but anyone with knowledge who can offer advice will be welcome.

    TIA

    Jim

Ok then, no reply was the answer....lol

Don't matter, I bought some 15mm hubcentric wheel spacers today c/w the necessary longer bolts and changed the wheel setup........The car now looks the way it should IMO.....Lower, meaner, phatter and more aggresive looking.

    really please with the results
