Hi, The rear wiper blade over runs and now starts/finishes its wiper arc on the boot paint work not the rear glass screen.
Is this simple to rectify? Can i upgrade to a later style aero arm assembly?
How do I remove the arm? Please help

Vehicle spec is AUDI A4 2005 Avant S-Line

    Click off the outer cover.
Pull off the washer jet assembly - this might damage the seal so be prepared to go buy another one if necessary. Cheap.
    Undo the nut.
Pull the arm off - I've read that some arms pull off easily but mine was a pig and well stuck. I ended up destroying it with an cutting disc to remove it. Try heating the whole area with a hair dryer or hot air blower.
    Reposition the arm and re-assemble.

Thanks for that, yes mine is stuck on, will try some WD40 first. Is the spindle splined or just round, can I re-position anywhere, or only a number of positions?

Its on splines but they are small so can reposition anywhere. If it's tight you may want to try using a puller before condeming the arm by cutting it.

I been searching the web and believe that the B8 rear wipers will fit but the blade needs cutting down, or some people have been fitting Q5 rear arms which are about half an inch smaller on the lower arch.
These are the part no. for the Q5 that i found on the web
    Wiper Arm: 8R0-955-407-1P9
    Wiper Blade: 8R0-955-42
    Cap:8K9-955-205
