    Hi All,

    Are there any issues or problems with the 1.9 tdi ?

    I have a 2007 2.0 tdi now and what with all the injector problems etc I thought I'd do a bit of research this time before diving in

    The 1.9TDI is a good engine! They all use Bosch injectors so no issues there, and suffer none of the oil pump or cracked/pourous head issues, as do some of the 2.0TDI engines. The only thing you have to watch out for are failing DMF's if you go for a higher mileage vehicle.
