    Good morning,

Can someone settle an argument all things PD on the mk4.....the only non PD engines on the TDis were the early 90bhp and the 110bhp? I think that the 110 bhp was the old turbo diesel non PD, where as the 100, 115, 130 and 150 were all PD. Am I correct?

Reason for the argument...a friend is looking for a non PD diesel, and thinks that only the slower 90 bhp was the old TDi - the one from the mk3. I think that the 110 bhp from 97-2002 was also the older bullet proof TDi as well.

    Many thanks.

VAG AFN engine was non PD 110bhp. Hard to find in a mk3 Golf. Also fitted to the mid 90's Passat Sport. Standard in the mk1 A4 Quattro TDi. Mk1 Skoda Octavia TDI, the higher spec version- SLX I think.
