Bear with me everyone. Just noticed that with the ignition on I get a sort of buzzing whirring noise from the heater control panel. Seems to quieten down if I put my hand over the grill in the middle of the panel. Anybody have any ideas?? It has dual climate. TIA

Dont worry, its possible to hear the small fan running with just Ignition on. This pulls in the cabin air for Climate Control to monitor the temperature.

You may also be hearing the motors which control the flaps for directing air, if one or more flaps is sticky the motors will continually try to pull the flap or push it.
Quite common on our cars and easily sorted, if this is the case there are plenty of threads covering the issue, in the forum search facility
