It's a pity you can't put them up due to thiefs!

Out of curiosity, on the a3, does the led light pack compile of the footwell lights etc or the rear led clusters?

Finished off a 2011 s3 full led interior light pack last week for work.

All 5 doors led puddle and red side door trim illumination

front and rear led foot well led

    glove box and vanity mirrors

    exterior lights already led

It was a miss order and audi uk contributed to the cost which for parts was around £250 and 8 hours labour

I think the owner was a chuffed with the job also missed off folding mirror retro fit tt and a3

Interesing - once I pay 2x insurance policies this may be on the cards to get done as I miss having a dark cabin when driving at night.

I would say he was chuffed, I know I would be!

Only mods I've done to the A3 so far is RNSE 193, oem bluetooth, ch/lh lights and oem led number plate lights

I tend to take notes when doing these jobs so I have some scribbles to help you and part numbers of the wires etc

I use the door led units from R8 now as I know the connector part numbers and the wire part numbers

Fitted the led lights to 8k a5 and a4 as well adding the mmi option to dim

Just like messing around or avoiding house work lol

    Hi Chris,

Just the rear lights, inner and outer. I have factory xenons on my A3 anyway, so don't see the need in changing these! (Not sure if I could anyway!)

I know Chris, just forgot in my haste to post up a help request....just like to be ready for when the lights arrive!

Any coding you have will be helpful.

I'm looking forward to fitting these as I think the LED rears look super with the Misano Red paintwork!

Cheers everybody....hope you all have a great Bank Hols weekend!!!

After a quick google I found this:

    central electronics

    coding

    help with long coding

Btye 9 to Dec = 0 - as the final brake light
    Byte 10 to Dec = 0 - Fog lamps as a taillight
Byte 12 to Dec = 36 - dimming rear standlight
Byte 19 Bit 2 Cold Diagnosis rear active - this must be activated
My LEDs came standard as I have a facelift car but heres a sample pic of mine
