    Hiya,

I am trying to install a keyless entry kit into my VW Polo , I have located the locking pump at the back of the boot on the right hand side; which from a little research I found to be the ideal place to install this kit.

According to the installation instructions I will have to splice into several wires:

    Positive 12v.
    Negative pole (ground)
    Lock.
    Unlock.

The harness connected to the locking pump in my car has 6 wires:

    Harness block position/Wire Colour:

    1: Red/White
    3: Brown
    4: Black/Red
    7: Red/White
    8: Brown
    10: Black

My question is which wires will I need to splice into in order to power the unit, ground it, lock and unlock the doors.

    Thank you for reading
