    hi guys,
just wondered if someone had and ideas what this might be? my (new to me) 2.0tdi 140, has, since end of january, had 2 turbos, egr valve, injector harness, missing bolt from throttle body and intercooler to cure P0299 underboost. what i am left with is a harsh tickover (when you key off your feet are actually tingling!!), and sometimes, when you stop at traffice lights, the rev counter will flick around, accompanied with a missfire and a juddering in the cabin. any help would be appriciated as i have been badly let down by the garage i bought car from, and a whopping mis diagnosis by bristol audi . thanks guys. john.

hi there. engine code is BRE. year is 2007 56 plate. it is a PD engine. Also, i have noticed that when the revs are really bouncing around on tickover, there is no vibration back up thru clutch pedal, as in DMF, but, if you turn air con on, it stops. turn it off (Econ button), it starts again. also doesnt do it all the time. thanks guys. john.

Initial thoughts from my experience of other cars would be EGR valve but I am no expert. But this does not tie in with you already having the EGR valve replaced?

Anyway, I hope someone more experienced will also give you some input.

It's PD - CR only came in the V6's and 2.0 TDi's on the facelift cars

ok, thanks for that. i know it has a brand new Audi EGR valve on it, as i have the receipt and you can plainly see it is new. i have been reading other posts about cam timing, and software updates ref lean fuel mixture without air con being on (fueling increased by ecu to compensate air con loading??), alternater clutches - all sorts!!!!

It is a shame you are not close to Notts where you could go and see Crasher.

I'm experiencing some issues with my car mate, if I don't end up Crasher's workshop (as site sponser) then my next stop is a local workshop...
