Got those trims fitted yesterday to my 2010 golf 2.o tdi 140 Se.

Bit disappointed that the trim sit quite far back from the exhaust. There is a gap where the exhaust pipes finish and the trims start.

It almost looks like the trim are too long, but it is the right part number.

I just wanted discreet trims not something that attracts attention.

    Any thoughts, Thanks

In an ideal world they would fit, however they are from a Yeti. I have done mine and noticed a small gap, but I dont think people look at the trims that closely. Except perhaps, othe VW owners wondering why your model has 'tips'.

I think what will make the Yeti parts more acceptable, is the correct VW ones would set you back £100, and all you have done is spent a measly £28. For that sort of saving, I would accept the small gap.
