Just bought a set of Audi front and rear mudflaps for the old 7; but not fitted them yet, and their yet to arrive. Got them on eBay for around 1/2 the price from the dealer.

I've never seen an A7 with them on. So has anyone seen them fitted? Do they look good or bad? Have I made another stupid urge purchase ;-)

I wish that the forum mods would recognise that the A6 and A7 are the same car, even if the Audi marketeers want us to think otherwise!

Yes I agree with Timothy. The A6 and the A7 is the same and its a pain switching between forums. Regarding mudflaps. I don't like them. They act as traps for mud to get stuck in between and cause longer term issues. I doubt by not having them it will cause any harm since the sills are very robust.

Well I've fitted them anyway and I think they look very good.

The fittings make it a very robust/secured fit which is very closely fitted to the arches and sills.

Pics to follow if anyone is interested.

Would love to see the pics. And with the Glasgow weather, they will come in handy.

Here's some pics. Difficult to see a black flap on a Oolong grey car though.

Kenny what version do you have? I have an s-line and my dealer refuses to fit Audi flaps on s-lines of any model as "they have to be modified to fit the body kit and Audi told them not to modify accessories".

Seems odd that excuse and the fact there are no s-line flaps if thats the true case?

I've a A7 SE Quattro, with Sport Suspension.

The flaps I fitted are recessed for the bumper and sill profiles. So if the S-line has a different sill / and or bumper profile then I'd expect they wouldn't fit. That's maybe why your dealer is saying "No".
