My near-side reversing bulb has gone kaput. This is located in the actual tail-gate rather than the rear wing. I've done a fair bit of searching (here, other forums and Google) and can't find a description on how to replace the bulb. Does anybody know?

For clarity, I've included a picture of the offending item. It's the one above the A6 logo

I think that this one is actually covered in the operation manual.
Cover off the inside then access the bulb carrier. No doubt someone will have diagrams shortly....

That'll be on page 422 of the owner's manual in Fuses and bulbs then? I looked before but clearly not thoroughly enough.

Probably one of the few bulbs you are allowed to change yourself......
