    Hi Zollaf

    Cambelt changed 2k ago ...

Rough running ie idle is is steady but engine is visably shaking more than it was 10k ago

Something i cant put me finger on yet but it is not right sounds very noisy

I might take the rocker cover off next and check the lobes... ??

But laptop was going to me my first stop as thats the easy one first....

i dont know of a way to check the timing as the belt purely runs the cam and has nothing to do with injection timing. however, if the timing has not been dialled in properly then they will run poorly. who changed the belt ?

The timing is not adjusted by a tooth on the belt, the cam pulley is released from the camshaft with the crank and camshaft locked into fixed positions. The belt is then tensioned and the cam pulley is locked to the camshaft, unlike other engines, a tooth out is meaning less!

    Hi all

syncro angle is moving between 0.0 and 0.5 so good ...

    Time to check those lobes.....

    BUT

I did notice alternator loading of 40% and nothing was on just engine running and upto temp...

    Is that normal....

Alternator pulley clutch, may explain the rough looking idle also!
