I use Mobil 1 5W-30. Local dealer Reading Audi recommended that brand. My car's on a long-life service schedule, every 20K miles. But I regularly check oil levels, top up as needed. Over 20K miles, that's probably equivalent to an in-between oil change.

Have a look at Opie Oils website http://www.opieoils.co.uk/t-recommen...r-or-bike.aspx
it will give you all the fluids specs you will need; oil, coolant etc. you can even buy a service pack with everything in it.
They are also very reasonably priced and their service is excellent.

Doesn't your car's computer tell you when it's ready for a service?

Had it serviced from friends and family so the service indicator is not correct.

Found the cheap oil thread in B6 forums, ASDA doing mobil 5-30 for £35 online and meant to be cheaper in store.

Thanks neilos100, that's a good link to follow.
