Hi All , does anybody know how to remove the leaking washer bottle from my 2008 Passat estate. It is leaking from the pump connection.

    Thanks

That's a rather big job,I wanted to remove it when my was leaking but it was those little hoses that coming out of the pump got damage and they were leaking, I've unscrew wheel arch, two screws that hold bumper from inside (long ratchet extension) and bottom cover, then I've pushed bumper and wheel arch outwards sticking a bits of wood to hold them in place and that gave me enough space to get to pump and sort the problem.

Thanks for the advice , dererk . I was hoping I wouldn`t have to remove it completely
as it looks like the headlight has to come out first.
I`ll give it a go when it fairs up !

I'm really disappointed to find it's such a big job.

I keep meaning to have a go at mine because the rear screenwash performance is poor and I'm assuming that the pump is integrated into the reservoir. If anyone knows different, please tell me!

No it's kind a push fit, and is not really tight fit so I'm surprised it doesn't just pop out.
