    Hi All

I have wind noise which is noticable at speeds about 25mph. However the noise doesn't get any worse the faster I go.
Anyone got an idea what to check first ?

    Thx in advance

Do you think it is coming from the door-window?, if so check the door closes neatly and the alignment looks good, but I had a whistle from my window as they can suffer broken window guide clips which stopped my drivers side window going right up into the seal when closed,
a quick check, with the window up and door open, place a hand on each side of the glass and push up, if the glass moves further up, it could be a broken guide. You may also see a slight gap right in the top corner of the glass in the seal.
search on the forum window jamming issues and how to change the guide clip

Although just re-read and you say it doesn't, get worse with speed, so that could be that theory,

I also have this problem, is the replacement clip a DIY job or does it need to go to a specialist ?

You can do it DIY (depending on your tools and skill), I managed to replace the rear one without removing the window mechanism I have a small ratchet spanner I can fit a torx bit into which allowed me to reach inside the door & undo the torx bolt which holds the glass in place then just unclip the slider, clip the new one in and redo the tiorx screw, (tip run the torx screw into the new slider before fitting, it cuts a new thread), but at worst you need drill out the rivits and remove the door subframe to gain assess to the slider

search other posts for the part numbers and other tips

    regards

    Andy
