Xenon control unit

hi anyone know where i can get a Xenon control(ballast) bosch part number 1 307 329 114.
i've had 2 from HIDS direct but the last 3 digits were different and they threw up a fault for the adaptive lights. the part is £342 + vat from audi so still searching to see if i can get it cheaper.

I did not think you could get the ballast genuine. What is the Audi part number? Is that the full and correct Bosch part number?

the audi part number is 8EO941329 and 1 307 329 114 is the the bosch number printed on it. all bosch ballasts seem to have very similiar numbers just usually the last three digits that are different

I am pretty sure the J343/J344 gas discharge light control units do not contain the ballast, I went through this with a TT not long ago. I have a spare one of these units at work (brand new in the box) to illustrate this! On the TT I had to fit a new headlight tio cure the problem with the light not coming on.

the control unit i need is screwed to the underside of the headlamp with 3 screws and has 2 electrical sockets in it. does the one you own have the same serial numbers as i'm looking for?

I found both the used and brand new units today and the brand new genuine VAG TPS supplied unit has absolutely no VAG ID on it at all and is made in France by AL (Automotive Lighting) who supply a lot of lights to VAG. I need to look into the parts a little deeper so I will dig out the invoice as I have lost the box it came in.

1 307 329 114 is the the bosch number printed on it

This is an AL number, not Bosch.

The unit we have is a VAG 4D0 907 476 B which is an AL 1 307 329 066.

The number you want, 8E0 941 329, changed to 8E0 907 391 C and then to 8P0 907 391 so unfortunately the one we have is not correct, sorry.
