Phone cradle

I'm thinking of buying a phone cradle for my 07 plate S5, there is an existing one under the arm rest, however, this only fits the Audi phone which I did not get when I bought the car second hand, there is a phone cradle from Audi that I think would be compatible serial # 8T0 051 435 F, I was wondering will this automatically pair up with the Audi phone system when plugged in and bluetooth activated, "ie" able to use the phone control switch on steering wheel or does it really just charge your Iphone?

Is will charge the iPhone and use the car Arial you would still have to set up a bluetooth connection once that is all. Do you have AMI in your S5 if so I would recommend just using that and not buy a Cradle

Thanks for that, not sure if my car has AMI I take it thats some sort of music interface, just bought the car then had to go to work offshore so not had time to really play with all the gadgets, just had fun driving it for a day, however, I'll make up for it when I go home in 10 days.
