Car smash

Some young lass ploughed into my nice new 12 plate golf on Monday night at 50-60 mph major damage all airbags deployed etc she then continued into a garden wall luck we only have whip lash and major bruises police charged her with driving without due care ane attention already, i will try and post photos and see if anyone has any thoughts if its a write off or not

Sorry to hear about your car, hope you're not too sore from the whiplash and bruises and the pictures don't show too much damage.

Glad no one was seriously injured, hope your both feeling better soon, hopefully the car will be back on the road soon or another new one in its place.

That's an awful thing to have happen to you! Whiplash is unpleasant, but thank heavens neither of you was seriously injured. The car protected you well if she hit you at between 50 and 60 mph. It can be replaced, but you and your passenger can't.

I hope you're both soon better.

Thanks dont really want it mended hope they write it off, ive got legal cover so hope they will help they are looking at it tuesday so will let you know what they say

i agree with you, but didn't like to say, once a car has had a smash the're never the same nor do you feel the same about the car.

it get's me that people work hard for things in life and some drunken idiot wrecks things for you, causing hassle and greif that you can do with out.

but at the end of the day, it's a car, it has done its job and protected you, and your both ok.

Terribly sorry to hear of your accident - I'd be devastated but at least you are not badly hurt.
I, like yourself, hope that the car is written off. I certainly wouldn't want it repaired.

Thanks folks will keep you posted most people have sais at least it was a vw and not a ford not sure if this is just a myth
