but still same fault Power goes when pulling hard in 2,3,4,5 gear fuel pressure low side 6.5 bar but when power goes drop to 1.5 bar take foot off pressure comes back up cleared out fuel lines still the same would this be fuel limter valve or hfpp

11.8.12 taken top off hpfp to check note there is air in fuel checked fuel lines to fuel rail no air but there must be a air leak some where there is a shrader valve somewhere in the fuel rail limter valve does anyone know if this can let in air into fuel system ? run vcds up car again after going on erwin audi site and checking setting some reason fuel system not working saying test off test on drove car at about 50mph for a few miles and them came up test on save setting car is running ok now, but not sure why fuel setting drop out in first place any one know have any comments ? as I am thinking will it do it again ?

I have already done all that, same as the OP of this thread... the simptoms are exactly the same, when logging fuel pressure (low side) you can see how it drops from 6.5+ bar to 1.5 - 1.8 bar in a very linear way... like if the LPFP wasn´t pushing more fuel and it drains while rpms go up at Full boost.

He says he did something on VCDS but did no explain exactly where and what, but it fixed the problem...

What did the cam follower bucket look like when it came out of the engine? Severe wear will have caused a corresponding amount on the cam lobe.
