My latest trick was to tape 3 rockets together last Guy Fawkes night...unfortunately, I didn't get the fuses all the same length.
The end result being a 'rocket' that shot up vertical, then horizontal..then downwards....ploughing into a neighbour's guttering!!
done that but taped 4 large rockets together with a roman candle (upside down) the results were impresive looked like a backfiring airplane untill it exploded o/h banned me from setting rest off , and yes drink was involved

Thank heavens above that I am not alone. Me woman gets a head fit any time I use a PC. So... I bought a laptop to use in the lounge and that still isn't good enough.

And.... even though I have to endure the soaps to give her company, I can't talk or I get barked at. Might as well be in an other room, but no..... I have to sit quietly looking at the laptop I'm not allowed to use because I have to be good company. Women's logic eh?

Don't take it too seriously. There are always two sides to a coin remember and I am sure I am not the easiest person to live with!

Being a female member of the forum, I had to reply to this post,,,,,,,,,,,, the whole point of taking a man clothes shopping with you in the first place is so you can spend his cash instead of your own and to be told yes you will get use out of that handbag/shoes or clothes ...... lol However though I wouldn't moan about men watching the footy on tv, (as long as I'm not in the same room),, or watching fifth gear/top gear or gaming,,(mainly cause I like them)

    See we are reasonable creatures!!!!!

HA! The secret is out now!

Now that I know that I won't go clothes shopping with her ever again! *

    * If that's okay with her.

A couple of years ago, one of my friends decided to have a Bonfire night party and got a load of fireworks in. By the time we had eaten and it was dark enough we'd all had a few drinks. No one was legless or anything of the like and there was no horse play but it did on reflection affect our judgement a bit

After setting off a few fireworks, one of the group announced he'd never lit one before and asked if he could light the firework. He's by far the most sensible of the group and no one had any problem with it.

He picked a rocket, stuck it in the ground and lit it.
It lit, flamed and stayed stuck in the ground.
"Ah", we thought as we stood around and looked at it, "you've stuck it in the ground too far."
Then it occurred that if it hadn't lifted off the ground it was going to explode on the ground.

All four of us managed to leg it to safety before the thing exploded. The WAGs then decide that the boys wouldn't be lighting anymore fireworks and we went inside.
