    what is the minimum thickness for discs on an a3.

    Hi Audidav,

    According to Haynes manual:-

    FRONTS:-
    FS111 Disc - 280mm Dia, New = 22.0mm, Minimum thickness = 19.0mm
    FN3 Disc - 288mm or 312mm Dia, New = 25.0mm, Minimum thickness = 22.0mm

    REARS:-
    C1138 Disc - 286mm Dia, New = 12.0mm, Minimum thickness = 10.0mm
    C38 Disc - 255mm Dia, New = 10.0mm, Minimum thickness = 8.0mm

    Max. disc run-out across surface = 0.1mm
    Brake Pad lining minimum = 2.0mm
