    Hello

I'm abit new to golfs and i've decided to change my front discs myself, however, I have taken off the wheel and caliper and can now not get the first disc off... do i have to take the Torx nut off the hub, as i thoguht the disc should just come off once all the correct bolts are off??

    Pleadse help.

    Cheers!

Once the caliper is out the way and the small grub screw is removed it should just come off, however......

Sometimes they rust onto the drive flange and will require a damned good belting with a hammer but....

Be careful as with any hitting / belting, the impact stress will be absorbed by the wheel bearings, so....

Hit the disk from the edge into the centre rather than from the back on the shiny bit. If it / they are stuck use the gently gently approach at first.
