I noticed when I last had the front noise insulation off that the oil level/temp sensor was "wet" with oil - no real leak but it looked like a small seepage of oil. I guess that the o-ring needs replacing.
As I am about to do an oil change, I now have the o-ring and the 3 new self-locking bolts and intend replacing the o-ring.
I am assuming this is a straightforward job but any comments on the subject are always appreciated.
    Thanks.

Just to close this one off. It was a simple job of removing the 3 bolts and o-ring and replacing. Only issue I had were the 3 bolts. On the car were 3 HEX bolts - Audi supplied 3 TORX self-locking one-time use bolts. On checking this, Audi confirmed the TORX botls were the correct part for the car. I guess there must have been a change at some time over the last 10 years.
