    Hi just changed my rear plate and boot light with LEDs, any idea on footwell and map lights are they w5w bulbs like the number plate ones the footwell and glovebox look difficult any ideas and also the map lights how to replace them?

    Thanks couldn't see the screws on the drivers side I'll have another look the passenger side has no screws is that just a pop off ?

    You seem to be a busy with your new car "Fog Lights Mudflaps Leds !!!

    Which led bulbs did you use for the number lights or did you replace the unit. Any Bulb fault indication ?/
    Are you fitting red or white leds to the footwell
    what bulb type ?

    How will the LEDs in the footwell get on with the % dimming and "fade to off" routine?

    They should be no problem as i fitted them to my A3 they dimmed down with interior lights OK but had to solder them in as I used a ultra bright festoon bulb with resistor
    But don't want to do it this time due to warranty thats why i have asked the bulb type

    W5w bulbs the flat ones as they are the ones that fit, I've done the boot light with LEDs ,no issues work fine the number plates have to be error free ones as they will thro issue up, the fogs where £50 from hong kong not oems but great quality as good as oems

    I will try the the W5 in red and think about the fogs as we all say its a just a expensive job to have the connected

    Get the fogs done £50 from hong kong great quality I'm not connecting them they are just for show, I've never used the fogs in the previous cars so makes no sense

    You can get them with resistor already fitted no issues with internal lights not canbus
