Dashboard indicator for Front fog lights

Hi,

For anyone who has the front fog lights on the Mk6, do you get a green indicator light lit on the dashboard when the front fog lights are switched on?

I thought this light came on the dashboard before, but now the only indicator I get is next to the switch itself. In contrast the rear fog lights indicator lights up on the dashboard.

The only indicator I've seen on both my mark V and mark VI is when the rear high intensity/fog light is on as well. Front fogs only = no warning light. My only wish is that there were two separate switches for the front and rear fogs. In most foggy conditions I have encountered dipped beam and rear fog would have been sufficient.

Yes there is no front fog warning on my dash its only the indicator next to the switch. There is a rear fog indicator on the rev counter which there has to be.

As Beddoe says I which you could switch the rear fog on without having to use the front fogs first.

I also which they had fitted 2 rear fogs and 2 reverse lamps as there is plenty of room, its just more cost cutting.
