    I can't see anything in the Audi owners manual indicating an auxillary port through which ancillaries can be connected.

    There is reference to a CD changer possibility (there's no CD changer on my car though) which hints at an auxillary.

    How does one go about connecting an iPod to the car's stereo? Assuming that's possible of course..

    Thanks..

    Head = Radio. Gotcha.

    Where does the Dension connect to in the Audi. Their site says they do iPod adapters that connect to either: auxillary input / FM hardwired / CD changer. Since I've no CD changer and can see no auxillary input...

    Even though the car doesn't have a CD changer, there must be an input for it somewhere surely.

    Also, would the fact I've a hand's free (Parrot) mean the space for an iPod input is taken up?

    Thanks

    The denison plugs into the rear of the HU. Just to warn you, and you will not track or album names. The HU seems the ipod as a multichanger. You get 1-5 will be the first 5 playlists and 6 will be all tracks on the ipod

    Thanks for the info kite. One other thing: you say the HU sees the ipod as a multichanger. Does this mean I can't control what's being played directly via the ipod itelf?

    Thanks dcds4. kite (above) raises an issue with a similar sound piece of kit: "Just to warn you, and you will not track or album names. The HU seems the ipod as a multichanger. You get 1-5 will be the first 5 playlists and 6 will be all tracks on the ipod"

    Kite is talking about interfacing with the ipod through the head unit. And it sounds like a restricted way to go about it. The item you link to also connects into the multichanger port and is, presumably, seen by the head unit as a cd changer. Tell me, are you able to operate your ipod directly, or only through the head unit?

    Cheers..
