    Hi Guys

i happen to buy a 55 passat b6 tdi 140 after having had sum good reviews with the car in general, and until now would have been the best decision in a long spell for a choice vehicle up until this morning. went to move vehicle this morning but then had a massive EPb system failure, i mean everything went crazy....

1-dash board lights flickering on and off then deems completly low to shut off.
2-parking light kept flashing with red warning light, constant beeping.
3-the sat nav system shuts on and off then comes back on asking for sum kind of code, but then resumes and goes off again.
4-the car itself wont start, no matter how many times i try.
5- internal electric system wont work including electric seating.
6-central locking system not working except 2front doors and key thorb not able to unlock/lock it.
7-back doors unlock, but alarms when opened.

had a look at engine to see if anything obvious(vision and smell wise) but all seems normal.. looked at bottom of car for any leakages and there you have it..

8-some king of malicious leakage dripping from front passenger side which rightfully gave me a scare.
9- i'm soiling my pants as i'm way out of warranty over 120k
10- can someone please help a fella out as this is my only vehicle for me/miss/lilon's we use on a daily bases.
below is image of leakage(ignore bumper wreck-cursed snow skids)

battery charge.? would that be for the electrical aspect of the car and the car not starting? dose it cause parking break failure?
what about the EPB light that constantly flares up..i read on other threads about unplugging baterry for 10 mins, pressing break for 35 sec and pushing on parking button for 10secs(tried&failed) worse is to replace the parking break button(don't know if it makes any diff that i had a full MOT test done on the car with everything checking out fine n dandy)

what off the leakage under the car? wat could it possibly be?

and also id like to check my break fluid level but where is it located(utter noob question) but im very new to passat car systems

sorry for all the million and 50 ?ns but im literally pulling my hair out(not that i have any btw),would if i did!

That sat nav will be the leakage, the canbus never turns off unless the unit is connected by a proper can loom.

The battery should be fully charged up by yourself after removing the radio unit, undo both cables to the battery to charge up, you will then get the warning steering wheel icon until you make a couple of turns and a few yards distance.

On a 55 car I would say the HB switch is done for, is it all rubbed away and you can see white plastic?

The other faults you list could be the rack module, this can now be fixed for about £350 rather than the £1000 it used to be, but lets get it started and see if it all goes away once the battery is charged.

Brake fluid is on the bulkhead infront of the driver position, behind the engine

Floor leakage looks like you've done the radiator in, unless you can tell it's not water based, i.e is it oil?

p.s sorry to tell you this, but you like me bought a German Edsel.
