My indicators don't flash, they come on, so I manually flick up & down to indicate. Checked rear bulbs all fine, maybe relay? Where is it & how do I access please? Also nr side Elec win started jamming, not fully closing then would t close at all. Just hear crunching sound. Took of door card, pulled window up. Temp fix.

Window problem sounds like broken regulator wire/cable-. Unrelated to your indicator problem .

thank you, anyu ideas on the indicator? ive found a relay on ebay, its the warning light button itself thats pulled out of the dash, has a relay behind it, the seller seems to think its the same for the indicator, even though my hazard lights flash ok, my indicators dont, vcds dont bring up any code

The indicator relay is the hazard light switch. There's 2 relays - one for hazards, one for indicators, which is why the hazards still work.

It's a common problem, and a quick search on here should find a link to a 'how to change the hazard switch'.
From memory, I think it's pretty much:
Prise out the trim surrounding the switch
undo a couple of screws holding the switch in
    unplug switch
    reassemble

problem solved, took it out to check no of pins & product code, used a screwdriver tip to rub the ends of the contacts, a good few blows to blow away any dust, popped it back in and hey presto! indicators are working fine again! Im pleased i read this forum though as you need to hold tight on to the plug you detach on the back as otherwise it will disappear into the abyss.

The window issues sounds like it's either going to be frayed wires gettign stuck (this is less common on this forum), or cracked blue plastic clips which hold the glass to the wires (this is quite commonly mentioned here, and I think the clips are only a couple of pounds from an Audi dealer). Someone recently said you can replace the clips without removing the whole window regulator, but I suspect you'll need small hands to do that.

There are 2 found at the bottom of the glass, they clamp onto the glass and into the guide rails with the cable going through them, with the door card off & door open lower the window approx half until you can see the lower part of the glass window, inspect the cable that goes throught the blue slider which pulls it up and down, there is a nipple on the cable trapped in the clip to pull it, the clips can break right at this nipple allowing excess movement and hence the glass goes up un even and jams

    regards

    Andy
