Any injector cleaner will kick in after 200 - 300 miles, then you will see the results. You will need to take it on the motorway, to clean all the crap that's built in the injectors.

Ive looked on google and it does appear that Tesco have put a percentage of biodiesel in their diesel, looking at my fuel flap it states "NO BIODIESEL" now there cleans one thing up! Maybe people using it already dont actually know how quick off the mark the car can actually be with decent diesel in the tank.

I used to fill up with shell V-power Diesel but my car smoked like crazy! Changed to BP ultimate diesel and no smoke at all in comparison.

My car has been remapped to 185, the power was there with the shell but the car ran too aggressive, the car drives much smoother on the BP

my car is a 56 Passat Sport I do a 70mile round trip commute

    Hi Guys,

I suppose the question to ask here is - Are we OK to run on diesel which contains a small percentage of biodiesel? Anyone out there qualified to answer this one? One thing that I have noticed is that when I had the injectors replaced the smoke almost disappeared however almost 2 months and 2500 miles later the smoking has started again especially on cold start up and heavy boot. Another thing to note is that I almost always use Tesco diesel (95%) as the forecourt is less than half a mile from home and they're always 4p a litre cheaper than BP on the opposite side of the road.

    Regards,

    Scottie

It's quite expensive, next time I fill it up I will use the BG 244 injector.
