    Guys,

I've got a 2003 Mk IV TDi Golf which has developed this week a fault whereby when you accelerate in any gear it stutters and shudders but eventually accelerates. The ABS / Traction Control light used to come on after a few minutes but has progressed to now almost being on 100% of the time as the stuttering / shuddering is also contininous. I'm assuming the 2 issues are related.

It sounds / feels like the engine is working on just 3 cylinders but i'm no mechanic or expert so could be wrong.

I've seen similar threads but not tying the ABS / Traction Control light and Stuttering together? It's going to a mechanic next week for a diagnostic test but having read other threads i'm not sure if that will show anything up.

    Any thoughts?

I have exactly the same problem on my 2003 passat tdi100. Diagnostics state (garage tested) that the injector has gone and needs replacing. I am now looking to find where I can get one cheaper than £300 - any suggestions please?

Just for info - it was the injector that was at fault with mine. (44k miles only) Now replaced and running sweetly again...
