The bulb is a new design and nothing else uses the special fitting and connection, perhaps in due course but not yet

    the bulb spec is :-
    H15, 2 filament 12V: 55/15W for DRL function, PGJ23t-1 socketless base

once again thanks , not got the car yet , awaiting date of delivery, waiting for 12 plate.

on the subject of bulbs etc, i think that the car looks better with fogs, but my car is on the production line part built. can after market pattern fog be fitted easily , even if not wired just for show. i've had fogs on most cars for looks more than use...lol

Fitting the fogs is not the problem its wiring them into the canbus plus you need a new light switch kuftec had a kit not long since I have inquired on the forum but nobody seems to have done it

I didn't think you were fitting them Brian I thought is was Steve.

There are alot of things on modern VW's that aren't easy plug & play as on a computer, most things have to be programmed.
