I've been slack. really, really slack - I did this nearly 2 years ago...

I hit a rabbit at an undisclosed speed and destroyed the front grill. It since cleaned up and I've bene front grill-less for nearly 2 years. I've decided that maybe I ought to replace it really...

I've managed to source the part for £22 and I will fit it over the weekend - wherein lies the question:

How easy is it to do?

    Thanks

PS, am up to 65k now...

Just a guess but I suspect it is the same as the fog light panels and just pulls off. Looking at the damage you should be able to feel the clips inside the edges and along the top, i would think the bottom has locating tabs, or wait until the new one arrives and look at it, you should be able to see the fixing points.

Hi - that was indeed the case - unscrew the fog light panels and CAREFULLY pull them off - the grill then just pulls off.

I had to replace the fog light too as that, also, was cracked - cost for both parts from a specialist? £50 - the grill alone was £70 from VW....
