    1995 Vento 1800
My daughter took her car in for a cambelt change & MOT the cambelt job found the Carb Rubber mount needed changing & was done then it failed MOT bigtime. Cost so far £240 list of fails include CAT, Rear shocks. Rust in sill, rear shock mount & somewhere awkward (not sure where) corroded brake pipes & some other stuff estimate including original repair & MOT £760. car doesn't look bad runs well sunroof doesn't work - question is would you spend the money? Daughter needs car, likes Vento huge boot space very useful, with 2 kids stuff pushchairs etc.

Well in the end my daughter decided to get it fixed, she borrowed our MK2 golf Driver & really missed the 4 doors & the huge Boot in the Vento so it lives again with a new MOT & a few advisories will need a couple of tyres in the next month or so. We don't talk about the dead sunroof.
