Parking assist button

Just wondering if someone out there can tell me if they have the button on the dash when you press the button can you hear it click on/off as my button doe's nothing, unless i put the car in reverse which is obviously automatically putting it on !

when I press my button, it lights up in the corner and the parking screen comes on. I can also do this upto about 10mph. I do have front sensors though.

Thanks for your quick response, i have the same front sensors, but what i need to know is when you press the button can you hear a click as light goes on/off ?

yes there is a click. If you button does not light up orange in the top corner and your parking screen does not come on when you press it. you likely have a faulty button. I would check this and scan the car for faults
