    Default A2 Electric Window Problem – 06-08-2007,10:58 AM
    Hi Help please, the drivers electric window has stopped. The fuse is ok, the interior light does not dim when I press the button, also the windows don't open when you hold the unlock button on the key fob , any ideas.

    Bit late but our 2001 TDI has just suffered the same problem so this may help others in the future.
    I disconnected the battery, counted to 10 then reconnected. Hey presto, everything is working again.
    Maybe just luck or reset the computer/CANBus
