Ok thanks found it but it's doing notting as it should when idling so back to square one again . Does anyone know the login for my engine as I've tried 26262 as advised but it must be wrong as it keeps dropping session when I put it in and according to Ross tech when it does that it's the wrong code

Can we back up? I'm a little dense.

You found the measuring values for the gas pedal potentiometers? And both are reading nothing? Is that what you are telling us? If this is correct then there must be a wiring problem to the potentiometers. You will need to pull out your wiring diagrams and a meter to figure that out.

Why are you trying to log into the engine ECU? Measuring values do not require logins. Are you trying to do something else now?

Sorry yes I suppose I'm mixing 2 things up here what I'm saying is the pedal is 0 percent on idle which is normal I guess as I was told if its higher on idle I have a problem. Then when I want to login to controller to do other things the code I've found is 26262 which I think is wrong code as it keeps losing connection

In order to help with the login, a copy of an autoscan report would be real helpful.

But then I come to the question, what are you trying to do and why are you thinking you have a problem? You have yet to describe what is wrong with the car and why you are chasing an idle issue/pedal issue/engine ecu issue. Could you give us the big picture and then ask for our advice? Because so far, I remain confused.

But then as I said, I am pretty dense.
