allroad headlights

HI all, I am fed up of my dipped beam being crap, the lights are projectors but have halogen bulbs and at the moment I have 100w bulbs in which are still poor, I have seen xenon bulbs (just gas) that claim they are 120% brighter but am not sure whether thats just sales pitch. Can the whole xenon unit be bought(dealer) and installed or does it have to be just a kit?

You can use genuine HID headlamps from a similar audi a6 c5 or allroad, they are plug and play. I have c5 a6 factory headlights (on my allroad) and it's the best white light you can get + they look a lot better than the allroad type of headlights. Everything will work as per factory and it will be fully legal as well due to the inbuilt headlight washers and levelers. If you cannot get genuine HID kits then you can use a HID conversion kit but most of them have a poorer light output compared to the factory bolts. Stick to 4300 Kelvin and you'll be ok !
