    Hi all

    Does anyone know if the below is correct

    In VAG-COM measuring blocks for glow plugs it show 11111111 when engine running showing that all glow plug are off

    BUT

    With the igniton key in pre start ie glow plug light goes out it shows 01010000

    Should they be all 00 or is this correct

    Thanks in advance

    00010000 = Pre-Glow, plugs are on.
    01010000 = No Pre-Glow, plugs not on

    There is no 00000000 block. Just variations of 0 and 1 combinations to allow for other states. Not all states are possible on all cars.
