Allroad 2.5tdi - fuel tank unit

From a previous 'flashing glow plug' thread have now had car in garage - problem believed to be sensor on fuel tank unit - need a new fuel tank unit. Have been advised that new unit will be €300 plus vat - sensor not sold separately. Alternative would be a second hand unit and just look to replace sensor- Anybody know where is the best place to get secondhand parts from or can the sensor be bought new from somewhere?

There's loads of Allroads/A6s being brolen on ebay at the moment.

Just search for A6 or Allroad breaking (or just "Allroad"), then select "used" only, to keep the manual searching down to manageble numbers.

There's a lot to be said for your used parts arriving in the post. And you get buyer protection as well if you pay by Paypal... Better than that, you can give the seller a big dose of negative Feedback if they rip you off..
