    Exclamation Help! Clutch Problems – 23-07-2007,12:28 PM
    Need some help, had trouble with my clutch last year it would go into 1st or reverse, the garage changed the master cylinder the it went again so they changed the clutch plate then 5 weeks ago it wouldnt go in gear at all so i took it to another garage they changed the slave cylinder its been fine till now and it wont go in gear again the clutch pedal just stays down when you press it, its in the garage now theyve told me the master cylinder has gone again! its cost over £500 so far, any ideas what can causing these problems?
    Just sold my beloved 306 gti 6
    got a vw bora tdi

    Should save a bit on fuel!?!?!?

    I would say this is a warranty repair. Master cylinders don't just 'go' for no reason. Make sure they aren't taking the mick.
