    Hi Can anyone help please.
Have just purchased a Golf Match 1.6 Auto Bluemotion and I am a litle lost as to how to select use and amend and dispaly settings in the extensive menus for diplay in the multi function display. I find the owners manual to be very heavy and not helpfull. Can anyone help please. I am usually quite good with menu driven settings and can use a PC but this has me confussed. Is there "an idiot proof "how to do it" guide please. Many thanks

More information please. Do you have the multifunction steering wheel with controls for audio system and the MFD? What exactly do you want to do? And KeithUk would want you to put your car's salient spec. as your signature.

The steering wheel controls are standard on Match.

Use the left and right buttons to move between the main sections.
Push the middle button to go into the next level of options, back button to go to previous level.

The options are in Setup, which can only be changed when stationary.
I recommend flicking through the options to see what you can change. If the name of the option doesn't make obvious what it does, then search this forum or post the question.

The mfd screen is a fancy trip computer.
It has two memories, you flick between them by a short press on the middle button. A long press resets the memory. Memory 1 is for the current journey. if the ignition is off for 2 hours it will reset itself. Memory 2 resets itself after 100 hours.
Golf Match 2.0 tdi 140 Bluemotion tech, fogs, folding mirrors. Reversing camera didn't make it, so enjoying DAB.

Other motor is a Nissan Pathfinder.
